What is School of Simplicity all about?
At School of Simplicity, we are keen to explore the possibility of becoming more balanced & achieving more by simplifying our lives.
Thanks to the hectic pace of life today and the 24/7 culture that expects us to be available whenever, wherever, stress-related problems are increasingly common. We have all experienced times in our lives when events seemed to whizz by, and although we were physically present, it felt more like we were spectators watching our lives from the sidelines. Expectations related to work, family and friends can become so great that we perceive them as overwhelming and unmanageable. As a result, we experience constant tension, which has a knock-on effect on our productivity and our relationships.
We believe that being under constant pressure without learning strategies to deal with them appropriately in school will be an SOS call soon, if it isn’t already – hence, the School of Simplicity acronym.
Practising relaxation can help us feel calmer, more confident, more balanced and to believe that we are able to solve our own problems. Other benefits might be that our cognitive functions develop even further, which can come in handy in everyday life, especially when personal effectiveness is key to success.

Tekla Kósa MSc, DipAT, IIR MAR, RYT
Autogenic Therapist, Reflexologist, Wellbeing & Resilience Consultant and Yoga Instructor with 10+ years experience in the health and wellbeing sector. I teach stress / change / emotion management methods; also offer personal effectiveness workshops – techniques to improve performance – to corporate employees and university students. My mission is to help people feel less overwhelmed and be more resilient and efficient in their every day lives by handling stress and overcoming anxiety.
In the past 10 years, I regularly secured, designed, tailored, delivered and evaluated personal development trainings for adults and students. I greatly enjoyed both preparing and presenting these workshops, and they have also helped me to gain a better understanding of the challenges participants experience every day.
On a 121 basis I help people who suffer from stress related issues, insomnia, anxiety, panic attack, asthma, HBP, fatigue and adrennal fatigue. I also work with pregnant women and help them to achieve a relaxed pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
Previously Trustee of the British Autogenic Society, active member of its Development Team; Events Officer at national charity Volunteering England; Events Executive at international NGO Concern Worldwide; then Events Manager at UKGBC, I acquired hands-on experience in project and event management. I was one of the lead organisers for the UK Mindfulness in Education Conference (2012) and continued facilitating the follow up events.
